Full Service Interior Design
For projects large and small, Kristen Clay Design provides Full Service Interior Design from Concept to Completion. You may be able to imagine the end-result (your beautiful new space), but how will we get there? In addition to Kristen’s passion for design, she brings a level of organization to her work that makes the process smooth and structured for her clients. Here’s some insight into our project approach, phase by phase:
Discovery and Concept: Together, we’ll investigate what inspires you and this change to your home. We’ll dive deep, then we will create a focused Concept Story that will guide the future design language and decision making.
Design Development: This is when we really craft how the space will look and feel. The initial conceptual idea takes shape as we explore how the desired *vibe* will translate to spacial layouts, furniture selections, materials, color, lighting, and art.
Documentation and Procurement: Details, details, details… they make all the difference! This is the phase when your designer (or design team, if we are partnering with an Architect or Builder) works through the nuts + bolts of how the design will come to life.
Construction and Installation: Okay, it’s getting real now! Your design will come to life; from design to reality. Kristen will complete final styling touches to assure that everything is just right, then it’s all yours to enjoy.
*Virtual* Designer-DIY
This is a great option for someone who wants to bring a Designer Eye to an individual room refresh, but wants to execute the design themselves. You’ll fill out a questionnaire/visioning form to express your goals, budget, and personal style. Then, you’ll take photos and measurements of the space (no worries, we’ll give you details about how to do this) and Kristen will prepare a custom Designer-DIY Guide for you, which includes:
Floor Plan with furniture and fixture placements
Curated selections: Paint Colors, Furniture, Area Rug, Throw Pillows, Window Treatments, Lighting, Art, and Decorative Accessories
Resource guide with pricing and links to items for you to purchase
Offered as a great, affordable alternative to Full Service Interior Design.
